Finger Licking Good, or not...

Tubular Tire and Rim Cement. I semi-failed, semi because I do not know if I fully failed it as I must give it time to adhere. I think I just did a sloppy job versus a failed job. I put a thin layer of the glue on the rim, then put the double-sided tape, then put glue on the tire, removed the rim tape second backing and then tried to put the tire on. That method was sloppy and a fail. I think I should have avoided the glue on the tubular part and removing the backing before I put the tire on part because wedging the tire on in a smooth try with all that exposed glue is bad. I got like glue on my hands and my blusters ripped on my right middle finger and index. See picture.
