Boots Boner

C Store x Viberg Bobcat Boots via Hypebeast
C Store teamed up with Viberg on a classic version of the bootmakers Bobcat style, utilizing three different shades of brown. Ice Mocha, brown, and tan make up the uppers, while beige Vibram outsoles add a nice touch of contrast. The boots feature top notch construction with thick leathers and triple stitching throughout. Only 15 pairs were produced, all available soon through C Store.

Personally these are amazing. It has the round toe with brown oiled leather, nubuck heel and tongue that sticks out, and black quarter panel leather. The popular seasonal Vibram outsole, like the ubiquitous waffle or herringbone outsole pattern, with front double-stitched welt sole, covering the whole bottom, appear on these complete the shoe. The final detail noticed is the quadruple-needle stitching on the forefoot, whereas most boots of recent contain only three. The Nike Air Zoom Lebron Soldier basketball shoe is the last shoe I remember with this reinforcement construction. I expect lildavid of Hypebeast forums to wear these soon seeing as he is one of the employees for the C Store. I only have one picture, but by going to the link highlighted above, you can see further detail shots. MSRP 499EU

FEIT Moc Mid X Ray 1 Boot via Highsnobiety
“The Moc Mid X Ray is built on a transparent sole, which highlights the custom Feit Hand Sewn Good Year construction, as well as the shoe’s internal components.
The transparent brings 3 major internal components into plain view – the bamboo shank, cork foot bed and thread weave.

The natural bamboo shank used in the mid foot provides strength and support where it is most needed. The cork foot bed is an all-natural, lightweight material used for absorption and flexibility. The thread weave can be seen travelling in and out, around the printer of the sole. Each stitch is hand sewn, joining the upper the sole. This technique provides maximum strength, flexibility and breathability. It is an age-old footwear construction greatly lost in footwear today, replaced, unfortunately, by cheaper cemented constructions.”

Available in Kudu cream leather as well. FEIT is one of the most impressive brands I watch and whenever they speak, I listen. FEIT shoes are sold only through their online store, in extremely limited quantities. There is a functional creative design to their products. The tier system of cost is rewarding as well. If you pre-order the shoes before production begins, you get the cheapest price possible. As it goes into production mode, the price goes up. When the shoes are all cut, the price goes up again. You pay the price for sleeping on great shoes and innovation, no imitation. Quality in the right quantity.
