189: Hennessy for Os Gemeos at Pier 57

Hennessy gave these two brothers from Brazil who are artists and graffiti writers with a unique style the opportunity to design their bottle labelling. The two brothers came up with a home landscape graphic in their handstyle. This happened last year when Futura designed it, and the year before that with KAWS. They held the party at Pier 57 with a performance by Hennessy endorsee Nas, and DJ sets by Os Gemeos and Jazzy Jeff, hosted by Skillz. Jazzy Jeff and Nas killed it! The brother's set was not my taste. See pics below, I was front row and too high to focus on taking great photos or video this time, so some of the shots might be blurry.

188: Travis Scott #UNCAPPED at Lower East Side's Peoples Federal Credit Union

This is a monthly concert that is presented by The Fader and Vitamin Water. They present a musical artist in an uncommon venue. Two months ago, it was Earl Sweatshirt in a multi-car garage; while last months was Solange in a laundromat; and this month Travis Scott inside a BANK!

The legendary Mike Dean was on guitar+keyboard with Chase B on the DJ set for this small intimate performance of about 50! Travis brought out Trinidad James for their collaborative track "$hut Up" surprise performance. Miss Info did a little interview shortly after the performance.
