173: Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Launch at Skylight Moynihan Station

We knew where the performance was going to be. No one had tickets. I showed up with a few friends. Those few friends turned into a mob. That mob got in. With open bar everything and various gift bags(specifically FREE Samsung Galaxy Note 2s) which I did not get, but others did, and Kanye set to perform in the maze of a venue, I was too elated. All this for FREE! The small floor was packed for the small stage he was to perform on. I schemed to get a bottle from the open bar to drink during the floor instead of having to run back. I got a bottle, it ended up being red wine, because it was the most convenient and what I could get. I get that go to my friends, then go back for another bottle. I end up with a tequila bottle. That sufficed for the rest of the show! Being front row for free at an hour long set Kanye show and open bar with "bottle service", it was a good night!

Fool's Gold. Labor Day party. Open air parking lot. Liquor and Weed. Cops shutting it down before French Montana performs and mobs mauling the entrance in this sweat-fest. Flosstradamus killed it here!

169: Already Famous Presents Juicy J at The Paper Box

More free concerts that I attended. This one put on by the "Already Famous" company for Airwalk, at the Paperbox in Bushwick with headliner Juicy J and openers Johnny Nelson, Black Dave, and Nomadix. The night was great, including the free Sailor Jerry rum and smoking section with a half pipe.

168: G-Shock 30th Anniversary Celebration at Hammerstein Ballroom

G-Shock threw a party to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of their watch. All I knew was that Eminem and Slaughterhouse were set to perform. I found out about this event the day of and was scheming to get in various ways. My friend Angelica and Mikey did the same thing. They got in, technically. I got in via a Media Pass from a friend. I had to purposefully not tell my friends about this event as to maximize my chances of entry. New York is very much a city of who you know, not what you know. I have been fortunately lucky enough to meet many good people whom I have come to call friends or else while out here. 

The media pass apparently granted its bearer a G-Shock gift bag, which I used to help my friends get G-Shocks as well:) The event was open bar and had one of my bucket list hip-hop performers to see, Eminem. This was Eminem's first live show in god knows how long of a time apparently as well, so we were treated to something awesome. Slaughterhouse put on an amazing set as well. I will let the photos and videos speak for themselves.
